North Cottage is a sympathetically created extension of the original period lodge, our former family home, which has now become a most endearing one bedroom cottage, furnished and carpeted to a quality that will be appreciated by our discerning guests. Enter a small hallway with space for outdoor clothing. A spacious beamed lounge, with living flame gas stove tempts you to relax and enjoy the views over the garden through the feature picture window. Stairs take you down to a very spacious ensuite bedroom with luxury shower-room which also overlooks the garden. Beyond this is a pleasant fully fitted dining kitchen. A shared wild flower garden awaits you with gurgling stream and visiting deer and squirrels.

North Cottage is only a few minutes from the Lake where you can take a trip on the car ferry across to Beatrix Potter country or wander beside the lake to Bowness Bay and take one of the many cruises.

The village centre is less than one mile away, with its fine selection of individual shops, theatre and cinema. Bowness boasts the largest selection of restaurants and cafes in the National Park. All you could possibly want for the perfect holiday is on your doorstep.
