• 1. A deposit is required within 5 days of reservation with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival date, bookings made within 8 weeks of the arrival date the full amount is due.


• 2. If you are compelled to cancel your holiday we will endeavour to re-let the accommodation and if successful you will only forfeit your deposit, otherwise the full amount is payable by you. We strongly recommend that holiday guests arrange their own travel and accommodation insurance.


• 3. Lettings commence at 4.00pm on the day of our arrival and end at 10.00am on the day of your departure.


• 4. A key will be sent about 10 days prior to your arrival date.


• 5. Where dogs are allowed they must not be left unattended in the property.


• 6. Guests will be liable to pay for any breakages or damages to fittings, etc. occurring during their stay.


• 7. Guests are required to leave the property in a clean and tidy state.


• 8. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to clothing, equipment, baggage and motor vehicles brought on to the premises.
• 9. If for any reason the property is not available all rent and charges paid will be refunded.
• 10. Complaints must be reported immediately, we cannot accept claims after you have returned home.

As members of the Lake District Tourism and Conservation Partnership we would like to encourage our holiday guests to help us maintain our beautiful landscape. All of the money raised will go towards the maintenance of footpaths and dry stone walling.

We have included a voluntary donation of £1.00 on the booking form, which may be deleted if you so wish. For every £1.00 raised in this way Lake District Holidays will donate a further £1.00.
